I started to be interested in photography around 1975 whilst still at University.
On leaving University I joined Bolton Camera Club where monochrome photography played a great role.
After a move to Yorkshire in 1981 I joined Pontefract Camera Club.
At the moment I am fortunate to be President of the Pontefract Camera Club.
I am a Judge and Lecturer for the Yorkshire Photographic Union and also serve on the Executive Committee of the Union.
I am a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society and a member of the 'New Image' Group of photographic exhibitors.
